Unlike passive screeners, The Destroyer lunges into tackles, uses body checks, and aggressively nips ahead of opponents to intercept passes. When deployed as a CMF or DMF in Quick Counter systems, they win high turnovers that immediately spark fast counter-attacks.
However, their tendency to step out of line means they require a disciplined partner (like an Anchor Man or Build Up CB) to cover the space left behind them.
